Train the Trainer - Bring Learning to Life! - This workshop, developed specifically for training and development specialists, shares proven techniques that engage adult learners.  Attendees explore methods of experiential learning by participating in a variety of exciting exercises that bring learning to life! 

Course content can include exploring methods of:

  2. Breaking the ice
  3. Building "buy in"
  4. Establishing trust in a classroom setting
  5. Uncovering frame of reference

Train the Trainer - Classroom Conflict - The real test is how you handle the "tough times...."  Most trainers appreciate the positive effects of conflict and yet struggle to manage the fine line between productive conflict versus harmful conflict.  This workshop provides intervention techniques for conflict in any training classroom. 

Course content can include: 

  1. Define conflict and appreciate its value
  2. Understand the 5 conflict styles and learn to effectively deal with each
  3. Determine when each conflict styles is most useful
  4. Identify your own response to conflict
  5. Recognize proper intervention techniques for conflict in the classroom

Train the Trainer - Modifying Training Methods for Small Groups - Trainers are often taught how to handle a large audience, but what about the specifics of contending with an especially small group?  How should our methods and approaches change?  This brief workshop will explore the dynamics of small groups and suggest training methods that are appropriate to a small group setting.

  2. Become aware of the pros and cons of "small" versus "large" groups
  3. Develop strategies to modifying training methods for small group settings

Train the Trainer - Small Group Facilitation - This workshop introduces trainers to Cragan's Bull's-eye model in order to "hit the mark" with small group facilitation.  Trainers will learn the ins and outs of problem solving, role formation, social development, and consciousness raising techniques with small groups.    In addition, avoidance of groupthink is discussed.

  1. Understand small group dynamics
  2. Become aware of pros and cons of small group interaction
  3. Develop strategies for modifying training methods for small group settings
