With more than 15 years' management and marketing experience in both the business and volunteer sector, Julia excels at helping organizations realize their maximum potential. Julia works with organizations to clearly define their objectives in marketing and operations. With her help from conception to implementation, businesses have effectively and efficiently completed process improvement initiatives, special projects, new marketing initiatives and strategic planning. Her clients benefit from her varied expertise gained through her successful team management and marketing initiatives.

Julia brings focus, measurable results and humor to projects. She believes that it is always fun to work when goals and roles are defined and is not afraid to laugh with others on the way to success.

In 2003, as President of the Unit 5 Citizens' Advisory Council, Julia organized efforts to gather input from residents on acceptable cost-cutting measures for the financially- strapped school district. Her team's efforts resulted in having nearly one-thousand residents make over five thousand suggestions. The school board was able to use the categorized list of suggestions to cut over 5 million dollars in the budget without a large outcry from the citizens or teachers. Julia is also President of the League of Women Voters where she has cultivated a more politically balanced membership base and has moderated numerous political and community education forums.

Julia earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois with a major in English and minor in Public Relations/Journalism. She has truly enjoyed working in a variety of industries including real estate management, insurance, technology and lumber.

As a proud mother of two, Maggie and Mitchell, Julia also thrives on the joy of family.
